A letter from the President

War Eagle!

My name is Mackenzie Williams and I have the honor and privilege of serving as the 2023-2024 Collegiate Chapter President of the Phi Theta chapter of Delta Delta Delta! I am a senior here at Auburn University majoring in Biomedical Sciences (Pre-Med) and I was born and raised just north of Atlanta in a town called Cumming, Georgia. When I made the decision almost four years ago to come to Auburn, I would have never guessed what all Auburn had in store for me, starting with running home to Tri Delta!

I am so excited to see what this new year brings to our chapter! I am confident that our chapter will continue to excel in leadership, academics, and philanthropic efforts on and off campus. Each member of our chapter brings something unique to our sisterhood and impacts our campus and chapter in remarkable ways. Our motto, “Bring You”, embraces the unique characteristics of all our members and encourages each girl to be unapologetically herself. This motto has continued to ignite my love for Tri Delta over the years and is a daily reminder of why I love this chapter and its members.

Watching our strong sisterhood shine and our members love others in our chapter over the years has been a joy to see, but the steadfast love between our members goes far past the doors of our chapter room. We have girls that serve in multiple different organizations on campus, some of which include the Student Government Association, Camp War Eagle & Successfully Orienting Students Counselors, War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen, Beat Bama Food Drive, and more! I am extremely proud of our girls and the way they serve not only our chapter but our campus and the Auburn Family.

I have seen our members support and encourage each other with steadfast love and devotion to the relationships formed through this sisterhood. Phi Theta has given me a support system and a home away from home that I prayed for coming to Auburn. This chapter is filled with such genuine, kind, uplifting women who consistently encourage me to be my best self-every day. My time in Tri Delta has been blessed by the relationships I have formed with each member through social, sisterhood, and philanthropy events! One of the best decisions I made during my time in Tri Delta so far has been to live on the hall my sophomore year!

Reflecting on this past year, I have seen the bonds of our sisterhood remain steadfast through fun sisterhood events such as dinner after chapter and our Parent’s Weekend event we hold each semester! From raising over $75,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to creating meaningful friendships and bonding with my sisters, this year has been filled with memories that will last a lifetime.

The impact this chapter has had on me is truly one I will never forget or be able to repay. I love Phi Theta with my whole heart and I am beyond excited for the opportunity to serve my fellow sisters in this upcoming year.

Delta Love and Mine,
Mackenzie Williams
